The Hawks are a chance to be without triple-premiership wingman Isaac Smith when they take on the Eagles this Sunday.

Smith missed the second half of Monday night’s loss to Fremantle, following a heavy collision in the second quarter that left him clutching his shoulder.

“We had it scanned and the scans haven’t shown anything significant but it’s just a matter of making sure that settles down,” Physical Performance Manager Luke Boyd said.

“At this stage he is still quite sore, so I would say he’s a test to play this week.”

However, the Hawks may regain Shaun Burgoyne, who missed last week with hamstring soreness, and Jonathon Patton, who’s been sidelined for five weeks with his own hamstring injury.
