Ben Stratton will make his return this weekend for his 202nd and final AFL game, having overcome a minor ankle complaint that held him out of the last two weeks.

Physical Performance Manager Luke Boyd says the captain is raring to go.

“(His ankle’s) now going really well. He was able to progress into ball work last week.

“He will train fully this week and will be right to go for his last game this weekend.”

James Worpel’s AC joint surgery has been a success, with the midfielder now resting up at home.

“He’s been resting for the last few days, but as of yesterday started his rehab program.

“The good thing about this injury is that it won’t affect his preparation for next year.

“In the next few weeks he’ll look to start running, meaning he’ll get a good, solid block of work now and be ready for day one of pre-season.”
