Hawthorn returns to its home-away-from-home this weekend to take on the Crows, with the Round 14 clash marking the first ever Friday night game at UTAS Stadium.
The brown and gold returned to the winners list last week with a strong performance against the Western Bulldogs, while the Crows managed a five-point victory over the reigning premiers.
It’s bound to be an exciting match-up ahead of the mid-season bye for both sides, with Hawthorn sitting 8-5 for the year so far while the Crows are 9-4.

Last time we met
Hawthorn (124) defeated by Adelaide Crows (58) in Round 20, 2024.
Hawthorn’s charge towards its first finals berth in six years continued to gather steam after an emphatic 66-point win over the Crows at Adelaide Oval.
The Hawks piled on 13 unanswered goals from early in the second term to record an ominous thumping, keeping the Crows goalless for almost all of the entire second half, until the home side kicked two consolation goals in the last 90 seconds of the match.
Smooth-moving midfielder Will Day (20 disposals, one goal) was prolific, excelling from the opening whistle alongside the superb Connor Macdonald (28 disposals, two goals).
Jarman Impey and Karl Amon delivered plenty of drive and quality foot skills off half-back, while Jai Newcombe provided grunt.
Skipper James Sicily celebrated his 150th game with two goals, while Mabior Chol (two goals, seven marks) grew better as the match went on, the pair among 11 individual goalkickers for Hawthorn.
What's On
Hawthorn ruckman Lloyd Meek will play his 50th game in the brown and gold when the Hawks take to the field of UTAS Stadium on Friday night.
The Round 14 clash serves as Hawthorn’s Centenary Match celebrations at its second home in Tasmania, which has been a big part of the brown and gold history. There will be an on-ground Centenary Celebration during the pre-game.
At quarter time there will be a Superhero Dash for Cash, the usual half-time entertainment with footy stars of the future in AFL Auskick taking to the field, and at three-quarter time the KFC FLG Fan challenge, before a Macca’s Kick 2 Kick after the final siren.
