Hawthorn fans will have their final chance to farewell club legend Jarryd Roughead at the 2019 Peter Crimmins Medal on October 5.

After 283 games, 578 goals and four premierships with the club among many other achievements, Roughead will say his final goodbye to the Hawks faithful on what will be a special occasion for the club and its supporters.

The night promises to be an emotion-charged event, with a Peter Crimmins Medal vote count also set to keep attendees enthralled.

A brand-new winner is set to be crowned, but who will it be?

Will Hawthorn’s sole All Australian nominee James Sicily stand out in front of the pack again?

With more disposals, clearances, inside 50s and contested possessions than any other Hawk this year, you certainly can’t discount James Worpel’s chances.

Or could Ricky Henderson cap off a career-best year with a best and fairest award?

Jaeger O’Meara’s fast start to the season will likely see him emerge as an early threat, will he be able to hold on?

Or maybe Ben McEvoy could be on the cusp of history and become the first ruckman to win the award since Peter Everitt in 2004?

So many candidates, all with legitimate claims to the 2019 throne.

Among the other honours awarded on the night will be Best First Year Player, Most Promising Player, Most Consistent Player and Best Clubman.

Early bird sales to the Peter Crimmins Medal event end on August 31, so make sure you don’t miss out!

Meanwhile the Box Hill and Hawthorn VFLW best and fairest nights will be held on a separate night, which you can secure tickets for here.
