Hawthorn youngster Ollie Greeves has signed a one-year contract extension, keeping him at the Hawks until at least the end of 2027.

After strong signs of development and progression at VFL level for Box Hill, the 19-year-old broke through for his AFL debut against Carlton in Round 18 earlier this year.

Greeves went on to feature a further three times at the senior level during his debut season, racking up double-digit disposals in three matches and kicking a memorable first goal against Richmond in Round 19.

The powerful 191cm midfielder/ forward was picked up in last year’s rookie draft after representing Eastern Ranges and Vic Metro during his junior career, which saw him earn U18 All-Australian selection and Coates Talent League Team of the Year honours.
