A very popular display that creates great visitor interest and conversation is the exhibit ‘100 games or more’ found at the entrance to the museum, recording the list of players who have played 100 plus games.

Former players, their families and supporters, when visiting, can often be seen reminiscing in front of this grand parade of our former and current stars. Members of our current team are curious to find out where they may be placed in this time-honoured display.

Of the 896 players who have made their debut with the Mayblooms / Hawks, 128 players have registered 100 games or more.

The ageless Michael Tuck leads the way with 426 games. Five players have achieved 300 games or more, Leigh Matthews on 332 games, Shane Crawford 305, Chris Langford 303, Don Scott 303 and Kelvin Moore 300 while 22 players have reached the 200 game mark.

From the 2014 playing list, Sam Mitchell leads the way on 261 games and is now in 10th position for number of games played, followed by Captain Luke Hodge in 12th position on 250 games.

Three current players played their 200th game during 2014, Jordan Lewis 217 games (21st), Jarryd Roughead 207 games (26th) and Brad Sewell playing his 200th and final game in the first Qualifying Final against Geelong. Brad Sewell now joins Ted Pool in equal 29th position. Pool was the Club’s first player to reach the 200 game milestone.

The Qualifying Final was also an important milestone for Liam Shiels who played his 100th game and now joins this exclusive club.

Other current players to have passed the 100 game mark and will continue to add to their games tally during 2015 are Grant Birchall, 194 games (34th), Cyril Rioli, 133 games (79th) and Shaun Burgoyne, 112 games (103rd).
