Injury report: Issie in doubt

Harry Pepper (10 disposals, one tackle, one mark, two inside 50s)

Pepper was able to play some midfield time this weekend and looked really sharp, he brought some energy and competitiveness during the game and played a really solid game.

Jacob Koschitzke (Three disposals, one handball receive)

Kosi played down back and didn’t see many contests down there due to the dominance of the team for the game. But when he had his chances, he was able to impact the contest with this trademark spoils. He was also played up the ground for a quarter, so it was good to see Kosi running around up and down the wing.

Michael Hartley (Six disposals, four tackles, four rebound 50s)

Harts controlled the backline again this week. His voice stands out – you can hear him a mile away. He was clean when he had the ball and had another solid game.

Changkuoth Jiath (10 disposals, three handball receives, one mark, one tackle)

CJ continued his good form with another impressive game. His movement was powerful and explosive, winning plenty of 1v1 contests. His skills were great and his work rate up and back was a highlight.

Daniel Howe (10 disposals, three inside 50s, one goal)

Howe had his second game back and could see the improvement in his conditioning. He had a very solid game across half back, shutting down his opponent, setting up the structures well with his voice and communication.

Conor Glass (Nine disposals, five handball receives, two marks, three tackles, two inside 50s)

Glassy has been one of our most consistent performers in these scrimmage games. His work rate is at AFL level, and ability to play in multiple positions highlights his versatility. He played midfield, win and half back even. His contest work is at a very high level also.

Ned Reeves (Four disposals, one mark, 13 hit-outs)

Ned had a solid game. He was able to connect well with his midfielders, giving them first use of the ball.

Keegan Brooksby (Five disposals, three marks, two tackles, five hit-outs)

Brookers had a strong game, his follow up work around the ground, tackling and pressure was very good. He was able to his use ruck craft to give our midfielders first use around the ground.

Finn Maginness (10 disposals, three tackles, two rebound 50s)

Finn had a pretty good game. His movement looked strong and powerful, and his inside/outside work is improving each game. He hunted the ball well like usual and he was able to win his own ball.

James Cousins (23 disposals, eight handball receives, two marks, eight clearances, six inside 50s)

Cuz was our stand-out performer in this game. His burst from stoppage was a highlight, and was our highest possession winner, highest clearances, and highest inside 50s player for the game, highlighting his dominance.

Harry Jones (11 disposals, seven handball receives, three clearances, two inside 50s, one goal)

Jones had a nice game on the weekend. Played midfield the whole game, and was able to hit the scoreboard again, which he seems to be able to do most weeks.

Damon Greaves (10 disposals, five handball receives, one inside 50, one rebound 50)

Greaves plays his role every week for us. We can count on him to get the job done and plays multiple positions for us.

Jackson Ross (Nine disposals, five handball receives, two marks, two rebound 50s)

Rossy had some plays where he broke the game open for us. He uses his great skills to set up his teammates and put them into space. He is a very smart, crafty player for us.

Emerson Jeka (Two disposals, one clearance)

Jeka continues to develop nicely for us. He came up onto the wing for a quarter where we saw his athleticism. He competed in the air when up forward for us, and always provides a strong contest.

Dylan Moore (Eight disposals, five handball receives, one mark, one clearance, one inside 50)

Moorey played on the wing most of the game this week. He played his role well, and when he had his chances he was able to impact the game for us.

02:35

Mitch Lewis (Eight disposals, five marks, one goal)

Lewy was our main forward target, and if it wasn’t for some errant kicking (it was blowing a gale), he could have had a day out. He was also very selfless setting up other players and having some goal assists. Mitch’s attitude was great, and his work rate was at a really high level.

Oli Hanrahan (14 disposals, two clearances, two inside 50s, one goal)

Oli was really sharp during the game, using his creativity and fast feet to get through traffic and set up multiple plays for us.

Mat Walker (Six disposals, one mark, one inside 50)

Walks had his first game for us in quite some time, and first in this type of format. It was great to see him get through the game unscathed and he can now build on that performance and get some confidence in his body.

Darren Minchington (13 disposals, four marks, two tackles, two clearances, three inside 50s)

Minch was one of the stronger players for us, using his gut running and footy smarts to good use. Whenever he got the ball, he was able to make something happen and it seemed like we were always a scoring threat when Minch was involved.

Josh Morris (Six disposals, three marks, one inside 50, two goals)

Tank had his first game back with us for quite some time. He looked lively up forward, and his pressure and intensity was at a high level.
