Hawthorn Football Club and KFC Australia are delighted to join forces as the global provider of delicious Kentucky Fried Chicken becomes a major partner of the club.

Hawks members are set for a family feast of benefits as the lucrative, multi-year deal sees KFC become the club's membership partner, activating their brand both on-and-off the field across member initiatives and match-days. The partnership will also include key brand integration across the players and coaches.

Hawthorn CEO Justin Reeves welcomed the partnership with the world-renowned brand.

"Hawthorn is extremely excited to partner with KFC, who are a global leader in the Quick Service Restaurant industry, and place significant importance on their people, their services and their restaurants," Reeves said.

"Both Hawthorn and KFC share a rich history of success which spans several decades, and we couldn't be prouder to team up with the family favourite brand ahead of the 2021 season.

"Signing a multi-year deal with KFC is another significant and positive milestone for the club, and we warmly welcome KFC to the Hawks family," said Reeves.

Kristi Woolrych, CMO at KFC Australia, commented: "As we all prepare for the 2021 season kick-off, we're delighted to expand our support of footy by partnering with Hawthorn Football Club.

"We know footy fans love the Colonel's treats, so there's nothing better than combining the two. We're excited to see what the multi-year partnership has in store for the team as we support them putting their best wing forward."

KFC Australia has a rich history of success and innovation in Australia, dating back to 1968. Since opening the first restaurant in Guildford 52 years ago, the business has grown from 25 employees to more than 36,000 employees across 59 franchise partners and more than 700 restaurants. KFC Australia serves more than two million guests every week, proudly cooking from scratch Colonel Harland Sanders' delicious Kentucky Fried Chicken.

Hawks fans should keep their eyes out for some tasty treats to get their hands on during the 2021 season.
