Ball magnet Tom Mitchell has earned the nod from fans as Hawthorn’s Round 21 MVP, following the side's win against Collingwood.

Mitchell landed his sixth fan-voted MVP honour of the year after producing an outstanding game as he helped the Hawks take home their first back-to-back wins since around the start of the 2020 season.

The 28-year-old amassed game-high numbers in disposals (44), score involvements (12) and clearances (eight), and a team-high inside 50s (seven) and centre clearances (four).

He also registered 400 metres gained, 12 contested possessions, 10 marks and a goal.

Aside from the impressive collection of disposals, Mitchell was also damaging, going at 84.1 per cent efficiency.

The outing further cements his place as the competition's top ball-getter in 2021, having racked up 691 disposals at an average of 34.6 per game.

Furthermore, the 2018 Brownlow Medallist’s impressive record against the Pies also continued to grow.

Heading into Sunday's game, Mitchell averaged 43 disposals against the Pies in four games, including a record-breaking tally of 54 and an incredible haul of 50.
