Hawthorn has made several changes ahead of its blockbuster ANZAC Day clash against Sydney this Monday.

Changkuoth Jiath will be unavailable for the match-up at UTAS after injuring his hamstring at training on Friday.

He will undergo scans this weekend to determine the severity of the injury.

Tom Phillips also will miss the game after injuring his ankle at training.

Meanwhile, Hawthorn big man Max Lynch is set to make his second appearance for this year after going down with a concussion in the opening round.

Chad Wingard returns to the team after missing the last two games due to a calf injury, while Will Day is also in the starting line-up following his concussion.

Finn Maginness and James Worpel are the other two names that round out the five ins.

Liam Shiels (managed) has been named as an emergency alongside Josh Morris, Jackson Callow and Ned Long.

The Hawks will be looking to make it two wins in a row when they host the Swans in their first game in Tasmania for 2022.

Monday’s game will kick off at the University of Tasmania Stadium at 12.30pm and will be broadcast on Fox Footy and Kayo.
