THREE Hawthorn players have been named in an extended squad for the Indigenous Australian Rules team who will head to Ireland and the end of this year for the 2013 International Rules Series.

Lance Franklin, Shaun Burgoyne and youngster Bradley Hill have all been named.

Burgoyne helped launch the new format to the International Rules series on 3 July, where it was confirmed the Australian team will be represented by Indigenous AFL stars.

The team will be coached by former Sydney Swans Champion and AIS-AFL Academy Head Coach, Michael O’Loughlin.

The final squad of 21 will be announced following the conclusion of the 2013 finals series.
