Our driven teams include specialists in finance, membership, commercial operations, digital media and community.
The Hawks also have an office in Launceston, which houses a driven team that run the operations and corporate sales for the area.

Video & Content Producer
About the role
Reporting to the Video Production Manager, this hands-on role is responsible for producing timely, engaging, and newsworthy video content that brings the Hawthorn Football Club’s stories to life across all digital platforms. You’ll play a key part in capturing the essence of the club—from match day moments to behind-the-scenes insights—ensuring every piece of content reflects our values and brand.
Key Responsibilities
🟤 Capture high-quality footage of press conferences, player interviews, training sessions, and sponsor activations.
🟡 Edit match footage into compelling highlight packages for fans and stakeholders.
🟤 Produce tailored video content for internal departments and club sponsors, ensuring messaging is clear and impactful.
🟡 Design and integrate video graphics that enhance storytelling and align with Hawthorn’s visual identity.
🟤 Lead the execution of the club’s YouTube strategy, creating engaging long-form content that builds audience connection.
🟡 Support studio-based filming, contributing to the creation of polished, professional content.
🟤 Maintain and organise the video archive, ensuring footage is easily accessible and up to date.
🟡 Develop content for social media channels that reflects the club’s values and content trademark.
🟤 Ensure all video output is on-brand, consistent, and aligned with Hawthorn’s tone and style.
🟡 Build and nurture strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, fostering collaboration and creative alignment.
This position requires availability for evening and weekend games, with associated travel.
Our ideal candidate
You’re a creative and technically skilled producer with a strong foundation in multimedia production and a passion for storytelling through video. You bring a mix of hands-on experience and strategic thinking to every project, and you thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
You’ll Bring:
🟤 A solid understanding of pre-production planning, including script writing, shot list development, lighting setups, and clear communication with stakeholders.
🟡 Strong skills in camera operation, with a keen eye for framing and proficiency in capturing high-quality audio.
🟤 Proven experience in video and audio editing using a range of professional editing tools.
🟡 Working knowledge of Apple Mac OS and creative software including Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and other technical tools related to video processing.
🟤 Hands-on experience in a multimedia studio environment, with the ability to manage studio equipment and workflows.
🟡 Familiarity with multimedia systems, including VMS operation and encoding for various output formats.
🟤 A basic understanding of sports media production, particularly football, with the ability to tailor content to suit sporting audiences.

Premium Membership Sales Coordinator
🟤 Lead delivery of Junior Hawks Elite, Priority One and Reserved Seat membership programs, including campaigns, communications, upgrades, waitlists and cancellations
🟡 Act as Personal Account Manager for Lethal Club members, delivering high‑end servicing and Inner Sanctum events
🟤 Drive premium membership sales through outbound campaigns, lead prospecting and referral into Lethal Club, Confreres and player sponsorship
🟡 Manage member seating strategy, including seating requests, single‑seat optimisation and collaboration with Membership Operations
🟤 Oversee matchday premium experiences, including Miller, Hassett and Harrison Rooms
🟡 Deliver premium member surveys, reporting on insights and outcomes
🟤 Provide outstanding member‑first customer service, supporting inbound activity during peak periods
🟡 Support the broader Membership team with administration, reporting, training support and match‑day/event delivery (including interstate travel)
🟤 1-2 years of experience in a membership-based organisation with a key focus on account management, premium events, acquisition and retention
🟡 Providing an exceptional experience for members and supporters - both new and existing
🟤 Strong knowledge with CRM systems - Archtics & Salesforce experience an advantage
🟡 Strong experience in phone-based sales applying telemarketing techniques
🟤 Ability to build relationships with key stakeholders

About the roles
We currently have two full time opportunities within our Membership Department:
Membership Acquisition & Retention Coordinator
Reporting to the Head of Membership Sales & Retention, this role focuses on building strong member relationships and delivering a premium service experience. It supports retention by driving renewals, acquiring new members, and promoting engagement with games and membership benefits, while also assisting with sales enquiries, match days, and member events.
Key Responsibilities
🟤 Support the delivery of membership retention campaigns in collaboration with the Head of Membership Sales & Retention
🟡 Assist in training and coaching membership staff on retention strategies, including handling opt-outs, refunds, and save tactics
🟤 Conduct targeted “check-in” campaigns for first-year, high-risk, and disengaged members to drive retention and engagement
🟡 Perform outbound sales calls to unrenewed members and prospects to achieve sales KPIs
🟤 Manage membership cancellations and implement strategies to retain members where possible
🟡 Provide account management support for early-year members, delivering personalised communications and onboarding experiences
🟤 Coordinate member surveys, analyse insights, and provide recommendations to improve retention strategies
🟡 Support inbound enquiries, reporting, match-day operations, member events, and general administrative tasks as required
Membership & Ticketing Operations Coordinator
Reporting to the Membership & Ticketing Operations Manager, this role manages the operational elements of the Membership and Ticketing departments. You will ensure membership renewal operations and database updates are delivered on time, ticketing requirements are met, staff are effectively trained on system changes, and member fulfilment programs and events are executed to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
🟤 Assist the Membership & Ticketing Ops Manager with day-to-day membership operations and processes and implement strategies to ensure staff are accountable and meeting KPI’s
🟡 Coordinator Reserved Seat Changeover
🟤 Ensure card and fulfilment files are submitted weekly with no errors
🟡 Assist with Hawks Future Flyers program – bulk uploads & processing
🟤 Assist with membership operational comms
🟡 Assist with the membership renewal build operations
🟤 Assist with internal ticketing fulfilment for AFL & AFLW.
🟡 Liaise with interstate clubs to confirm ticketing requirements to Hawthorn interstate games and UTAS matches
🟤 Assist the wider membership team on match-days for both AFL & AFLW
Our ideal candidate
You are a motivated and detail‑oriented professional with excellent communication skills and a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer or member experiences. Confident in stakeholder management, you bring strong problem‑solving, retention, and negotiation capabilities, along with the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism. A proactive and natural leader, you thrive in fast‑paced environments, work effectively both independently and within a team, and consistently maintain accuracy and attention to detail.
You’ll Bring:
🟤 1–2+ years’ experience in a membership‑based, customer service, sales, or operations role (sport or events experience highly regarded) or experience in membership acquisition, retention, and phone‑based sales or engagement
🟡 Exposure to ticketing operations and large‑scale events desirable
🟤 Strong experience using CRM and/or customer database systems (Archtics and Salesforce highly regarded)
🟡 Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office
🟤 Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships and manage stakeholders
🟡 Highly organised, target‑driven, and able to work to deadlines with minimal supervision
🟤 Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
🟡 Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Sports Management, or a related field (preferred)
