Hawthorn has named an extended 26-man squad ahead of its clash with GWS on Sunday.

After being a late omission from last week's game following a minor training injury, Jonathon Patton has been named in the squad.

Patton will be hoping he gets the opportunity to take on his former side on Sunday.

Luke Breust is the sole out from the side that defeated North Melbourne last week, with the small forward undergoing surgery this week to repair a fractured jaw.

Paul Puopolo, Harry Jones, Harry Morrison and James Cousins are the other four names to be included in the Hawks squad.

Hawthorn will announce its Round 5 team on Friday at 5pm.
