Hawks welcome member-friendly 2022 fixture

Universally admired both inside and outside Hawthorn’s four walls, McEvoy is much-loved by all at the club, including among the brown and gold faithful.

A highly respected clubman and teammate, McEvoy is known for his courage, selflessness and natural leadership qualities.

After being a member of the Hawks leadership group for two years, he was appointed the club’s captain ahead of the 2021 season.

Demonstrating impressive leadership strengths and qualities both on and off the field, McEvoy received the Best Clubman award at this year’s best and fairest.

McEvoy joined the Hawks from St Kilda during the 2013 trade period, with his first two seasons in the brown and gold culminated in the 2014 and 2015 premierships.

The 200cm ruckman has now chalked up 244 AFL games across 14 seasons, including 153 outings in the brown and gold.
