Hawthorn has launched a special 25-year retrospective exhibition at Launceston Town Hall to celebrate a quarter of a century in Tasmania.

As the club celebrates its silver anniversary in Tasmania, it was determined there was no better way to mark the occasion than rolling out its prized silverware won during Hawthorn's memorable 25 years in the state.

All four of the Premiership Cups from 2008, 2013, 2014 and 2015 will be front and centre for the entire exhibition, enabling Tasmanian members and fans to get up close with the prized silverware.

From memorable timelines and historic newspaper clippings, to Lance 'Buddy' Franklin’s last Tasmanian-worn guernsey and a wall of life-sized players for fans of all ages to measure against, this exhibition is a series of footsteps down football memory lane for Tasmanians to enjoy.

Entry is FREE for all, with the exhibition running for a limited time only.

It will then be open from Monday 29 June - Friday 3 July, 8.30am - 5pm.

Fans attending the 25-year commemorative match on Saturday 4 July will be able to check out the exhibition from 10am-2pm that day. It will then be open for its final day on Sunday 5 July, from 10am - 2pm.

Along with the Town Hall Exhibition, the club has developed a suite of engaging initiatives to amplify the milestone, including a major TV campaign featuring past and current players, a collaboration with local cultural icon Waverly Mills, the distribution of a commemorative magazine in The Examiner newspaper this weekend and plans for a marquee match celebration when the Hawks take on Melbourne in Round 17.
