Hawthorn has locked in a further three players with Dan Howe, Damon Greaves and Conor Nash signing new deals for the 2021 season.

GM-Football Graham Wright said the club is pleased to see its 2021 list continue to take shape.

“It’s pleasing to have Dan, Damon and Conor all locked in for next season,” said Wright.

“This is a group of dedicated young men who work extremely hard at their craft.

“They’ve been excellent in handling the different challenges thrown up in season 2020, and have all gained a wealth of experience as a result.

“We’re really looking forward to seeing Dan, Damon and Conor continue to develop over the coming season.”

Howe was taken by Hawthorn with Pick 31 in the 2014 National Draft and has played 67 games in the brown and gold. While injury has hampered his starts in the past two seasons, the versatile defender has shown resilience and dedication to his rehab and returned on both occasions to have an immediate impact down back.

A good news story from the Hawks' 2020 campaign; Greaves made his debut in Round 16 and quickly impressed with his composure and skill. Over his three senior appearances, Greaves operated at 90 per cent disposal efficiency and averaged 17 disposals. Taken with the 14th selection in the 2018 rookie draft, Greaves is already at work repaying the faith and showing promising signs of what’s to come for the young Hawk.

Nash arrived at the Hawks as an International rookie at the end of 2016, making the transition from Gaelic football to AFL. The now 22-year-old has impressed with his athleticism and is noted as one of the Hawks top endurance athletes. Nash made his debut in 2018 and has notched up 21 games in his time with the Hawks.

The trio are the latest in a string of re-signings, following the likes of Jack Scrimshaw, Oliver Hanrahan and Harry Morrison last week.
