Hawthorn has made four changes to its side ahead of its clash against Melbourne for the Beyond Blue Cup on Sunday.

Jacob Koschitzke has been recalled to the team, replacing the suspended Mitch Lewis, while consistent strong performances in the reserves practice matches see Olly Hanrahan return to the 22.

Conor Nash will make his first senior appearance of the 2021 campaign following a month of stand-out games with Box Hill.

Shaun Burgoyne is the fourth incoming Hawk, after he was the medical sub in last week's loss to Fremantle.

After playing in each of the Hawks' opening four games of the year, youngster Tyler Brockman has been left out of this week's side.

Jonathon Ceglar and Michael Hartley have also been omitted ahead of the meeting with the undefeated Demons.

"Hang in there," says Clarko
